Black Sherif nominated for Best African Act at the 16th Headies Award


                     

Having been recognized for his amazing talent, the young and vibrant Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif, has earned a nomination for the 16th Headies Award to be held in Nigeria.

The Headies Award was established in 2006 and was originally called the Hip Hop World Awards. It recognizes and celebrates outstanding musicians in Africa’s entertainment industry. 
  
Nigeria’s biggest and most anticipated music awards show announced a call for submissions for its 2023 edition and the deadline was June 16.  Another announcement was made in the early hours of Wednesday, July 12 by its organizers concerning the personalities that had received nominations.

The ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ singer was nominated for ‘African Artiste Of The Year’,  having to battle for the title with personalities like Rema, Burna Boy, Marwa Loud and Diamond Platnumz.

The date and venue for the prestigious award show are not known to the general public just yet.
