In 2017, Yemi Alade expressed her disappointment after revealing that Sarkodie ignored all advances from her management team for collaboration on so many occasions without tangible explanation.
They eventually collaborated on the song ‘Ego’ but Sarkodie failed to show up for the music video shoot when Yemi Alade had her team reach out to him. Sarkodie eventually apologized in 2020.
